Water pump purchase knowledge
In order to better choose the right pump for you, please read the following tips
Head: In theory, the maximum height that the pump can pump vertically, but when it reaches the maximum height, the pump flow rate will be 0. Under normal circumstances, it is better to choose the actual head to be within 60% of the theoretical head!
For example: if the fish tank needs to pump water to 0.6 meters, you need to buy a pump with a head of more than 1 meter.
2. Flow rate: When the head is 0, the theoretical pumping capacity reaches the maximum. Generally, the actual use flow is about 60% of the theoretical to the maximum flow because the actual use must be a little bit vertical and not 0. It is recommended to buy a large water pump rather than a small one
For example: when your water outlet height is 1 meter and the water flow rate is 100/h, you need to choose a pump with a head of 1.5 meters or more and a flow rate of 150L/h or more.
3. Rotor: When the flow of your water pump becomes small or does not work, please turn on the water pump first to take out the rotor inside, rinse it with clean water, and then install it back. When disassembling and washing, pay special attention to the ceramic shaft and do not break it. Due to the strong magnetism of the magnetic rotor when disassembling, please pay attention to safety when installing to avoid accidentally pinching your fingers.
Both the rotor and the shaft are consumables, which are not covered by the warranty, and the unauthorized disassembly of the wiring is also not covered by the warranty!
